Suspended urban centers

The importance of promoting urban green spaces and the need to connect fragments of green areas with ecological corridors to integrate biodiversity into the urban environment and the integration of plant and animal species into the urban landscape are evident.
The next evolutionary level in the metamorphosis of the city is being designed by the professionals at International Agency Landscape and will consist of making the city and the productive agricultural landscape coexist in the same geographical location, but at two separate height levels. Communication and transport infrastructure, energy and supply networks, human habitats, office and work areas, and industrial infrastructure will be suspended above the agricultural fields by networks of concrete towers. The destruction and loss of precious productive land will cease, and people will inhabit an environment that is simultaneously urban, natural, and productive.
